Service Policies

We do not service cats.

The price may vary according to the coat and condition of the dog.

Certain breeds such as Bernese Mountain Dogs, Pomeranians, and Huskies have higher grooming prices due to their special coat and grooming needs. The final cost may vary depending on factors such as coat type, weight, size, and the dog’s behavior during the service. The exact price will be confirmed after the grooming session.

A deposit of $20 USD is required when the appointment is confirmed.

Our service is organized by zones based on zip codes, each assigned to specific days of the week. When booking through our website, you will be asked to select a day on which your zip code is listed. If your address does not match any of the listed zip codes, please do not book an appointment, as we do not provide service outside these areas. If you book an appointment and your zip code does not match the listed codes for the chosen zone, the service will not be carried out, and any previously paid deposit will not be refunded.

Once the service is scheduled, the customer will have up to two days to cancel service if an emergency arises and will be able to reschedule it, otherwise, the deposit will not be refunded.

Upon the arrival at the appointment destination if the customer is not found the groomer will wait 15 minutes. If the customer does not arrive within that time period the appointment will be automatically canceled and the deposit money will not be refunded.

We required 2 to 3 clean towels to be provided by the owner to dry your dog.

Access to the van is not allowed.

If the owner of the dog does not like the final result of the grooming, some changes (fur cuts) can be done right away; likewise, the customer must cancel the value of the grooming that was quoted.

When making the appointment, it is essential that the owner notifies if the dog is aggressive, if so, the dog should take a tranquilizer prior to the time of the appointment. The customer should also notify if the dog is a puppy, or if it is hyperactive and difficult to handle, or if there is any change in the health of the animal.

If during grooming the dog is definitely difficult to handle, and the grooming work can not be completed, the best will be done, but the dog’s well-being is going to be a priority over beauty.

4Paws does not provide any medicine to relax the dog. The owner should bring it to the vet for a proper prescription.

If your dog is elderly, but does not stand up, moves from side to side, or is blind, grooming will be done as best as possible, but an excellent cut is not guaranteed (no discount is made in these cases).

Updated vaccination card is required for your pet, especially rabies vaccine. The card with this information must be sent at the time of the appointment by text or email.
